Oh how I love Dylan. I couldn't wait to read this part of his story. He's back in town and feeling a bit out of sorts with everyone in town knowing his business and getting back into the swing of things after his stay in the hospital. He's trying to stay away from women and instead is working out and running. Then his brother goes and hires Emma. Nothing in the world could have prepared him for Emma. He tries fighting his attraction for her at first, but then falls head over heals for her. She comes with her own set of baggage. Her ex boyfriend has some stalker issues and his daddy is a mob boss. Even bigger problem is that Emma's daddy has mob ties as well. So while Emma and Dylan are falling in love, they are also dealing with a stalker ex, possible hits, undercover agents, and all things Godfather-ish. I felt for Dylan knowing that Emma's friend would have filled her in on all his drama and that if it wasn't her that someone else in town would have done it. There was just no privacy for him and no get to know you opportunity for that conversation on their own. I love alpha protective Dylan. Yes I know he's over the top, but I kinda dig it. I really love him with Emma. She balances him out and they have a sizzling chemistry together.
