My Thoughts
What started out as study partners for Joel and Ava developed into a love affair their last year of college. I so loved their banter and holy cow they were on fire for each other which made for some serious steamy moments. Joel is all in with the relationship while Ava still wants things undercover. When it comes down to taking the next step and relocating with Joel, Ava decides not to go due to the pressure from her parents. They are both broken hearted as they separate and move on with their lives. But they really haven't moved on at all. Years later Joel comes back to town and Ava starts to reevaluate her previous decision and realizes that she is still in love with him. Now if only he still feels the same.
I have to say that I wanted to shake Ava repeatedly throughout the story to make her realize that she needed to get over the whole people pleasing thing that kept her separated from Joel. I absolutely LOVED Joel. He was borderline bossy in the bedroom and all out sexy. Mostly I loved him because he didn't play games and was all about Ava from the time they started all these study dates. And I loved Joel and Ava together both in the past and the present. Sweet love story.
I give Hopeful 4 hearts!

About the Book
Guys like Joel Wentworth weren't supposed to fall in love
