Book Review - Relentless Liberation by L. J. Fine

My Thoughts

Mina usually has her nose in a book, but when her friend brings her to an underground boxing match she can't help but fall for Tyler. She is entranced watching him fight and Tyler is attracted to her as well. Once they act on their desires it is combustible. But Tyler tells her that he doesn't do relationships and will only do a friends with benefits arrangement. He does amazing things for her self esteem which is lacking due to her past. She can actually see herself in a new light through his eyes. Then Mina's past comes back to haunt her and Tyler will have to decide if he will fight for her.

I give Relentless Liberation 4 hearts!

About the Book

Being stalked from town to town by an unstable ex-boyfriend means demure bookworm Mina Roper is used to keeping a low profile. But after a coworker brings her to an underground boxing competition, shy Mina falls deeply in lust with gorgeous fighter Tyler Serano. The problem? She’s convinced he’s hopelessly out of her league.

Tyler knows his matches are brutally violent, so why does this sweet, subdued beauty keep showing up to watch them week after week? Despite his overwhelming fear of commitment, Tyler’s innocent curiosity evolves into a hot, all-consuming attraction.

Just when it looks like happily ever after might be possible, Mina’s past catches up to her and she’s forced to make a tough choice. Follow her usual escape strategy—or risk it all for a new kind of life with Tyler.

About the Author

L.J Fine's idea of the perfect life is to sit in her pajamas all day sipping on a good cup of coffee while playing in her imagination. Her mother instilled in her a love of reading (romance novels in particular) at an early age and she turned that love into a passion for writing her own love stories with a decidedly dirty-minded twist. Mom's so proud!

L.J. lives in Pennsylvania where she is working on making that dream of a perfect life into a reality.
