Book Review - Guilt by Association by Marcia Clark

My Thoughts

Rachel is a D.A. whose best friend and coworker Jake dies in a way that doesn't seem like the man she knew at all. It was a murder/suicide with a young man who was made to look like they were involved. She makes the decision to investigate and isn't sure what to think about what she uncovers. She is told to drop it and focus on another case that is about the rape of a young woman that is the daughter of a prominent man in the community. She ends up working with Homicide Detective Bailey and wants to clear her friend's name.

For Marcia's first book it really was fantastic. It was like watching a really good episode of Law & Order. She really knows her stuff and it is evident in the pages of this book. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I give Guilt by Association 4 hearts!
