Ransom is a man who is punishing himself by living in a past that has a hold on him. He can't connect with women in any kind of a deeper way because he is in the grips of a ghost. Then Aly comes into his life and rocks that world for him. I loved Aly. She is passionate and full of love for a man that can't give her what she wants as he can't see past his pain. She longs to break down those walls and suffers heartache at his hand all the time loving him. There is a serious cliffhanger at the end of this part of their story that just about had me throwing my kindle. I really enjoyed all of their story and it was wonderful to get a peek at his parents.
I give Thick Love 4 hearts!

About the Author
Eden Butler is an editor and writer of New Adult Romance and SciFi and Fantasy novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking and rum. Her debut novel, a New Adult, Contemporary (no cliffie) Romance, “Chasing Serenity” launched in October 2013 and quickly became an Amazon bestseller.
When she’s not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden edits, reads and spends way too much time watching rugby, Doctor Who and New Orleans Saints football.
She is currently imprisoned under teenage rule alongside her husband in southeast Louisiana.
