I fell head over heart for Hoyt. This beautifully broken man who was scarred inside out when kidnapped and tortured suffering from PTSD. That's why he let's Hayden go. The love of his life because he can't subject her to the nightmare his life has become. Hayden's heart is shattered over the loss of him. Then her life is in danger and no one can protect her like Hoyt. He realizes with the possibility of losing her forever that he wants just that...her forever. Once he gives in to his desire for her there is no turning back. He is all in and it was lovely and scorching. I so loved their story.
