Hope and Rock are crazy hot for each other, but they
definitely come from two different worlds. A fact that Wrath doesn't let her
forget as he tags her as Cinderella and accuses her of just wanting a walk on
the wild side. She is learning more about his world thanks to him and Trinity.
I so love Trinity and I definitely want more of her story. Hope isn't just
trying to find her way in his world she is also trying to do the same in her
world. She is trying to get her career back on track, but it isn't an easy road
which has a bit of a speed bump thanks to one of Adam's clients. Then she and
Wrath bond over an attach which results in a serious injury for him. I loved
the scenes at the accident and in the hospital between them. It was if you
could sense that they were becoming family. I really loved that Autumn kept
Hope true to who she is throughout the story. She freaked out at times and
doubted her ability to fit in, but at the same time she grew stronger in
herself and also her relationship with Rock. At one point she went ahead and
called herself Rock's old lady. Loved that she stood up for herself and for
him. Rock is just plain hot. I love his penchant for naughty talking and that
he was all about supporting and protecting his woman. You gotta love those
alpha bossy men. I want more of their story and I can't wait to read Wrath's
story as well.

Hope has never had anyone stand for her. Not until Rock.
That is what made the most impression on me while reading this part of their
story. With everything that she had been through in her life, no one has ever
stood beside her and for her. Been the one for her to lean on. She is always
worrying about others and taking care of them. Rock is the first in her life to
do that for her. It takes her some ups and downs to realize it because it is so
foreign to her and it hurts Rock to have to fight her sometimes to do that for
her. But they have that forever kind of love. It definitely gets tested in this
part of their story. I have to admit that I fell a little head over heels for
Wrath in this book and I am dying to read his and Trinity's story.

I’m halfway to my car when Murphy’s voice stops me. “Hope! Wait up.”
“What’s up?” I ask when he reaches me.
“Nothing. Wanted to walk you to your car.”
My silence tells him I’m not buying it.
He opens my car door for me, and I toss my purse on the passenger seat but don’t get in. “What’s on your mind, Murphy?”
“Thanks for doing that for her today. Teller better have thanked you.”
“He did. Is that really why you raced down here?”
His grin falters. “It’s just…her mom’s never been around and her grandmother hated doing that kind of stuff for Heidi. Teller and I used to try…but it’s not the same.”
Damn. I’m going to cry if he keeps this up.
“I was happy to do it. We had fun.”
“Funny thing is, I know you mean that, Hope.” He chuckles when I frown. “I know you ain’t doin’ it to impress Rock. You got our prez so whipped he can barely see straight.”
“Hardly.”
“And you got no reason to wanna be in Teller’s good graces. Hell, you probably wanna smack the shit out of him.”
“Well…”
“I’m glad she has you now.”
