Series Blitz - Heated Ride by Chelsea Camaron

I couldn't wait to read Ruby and Vida's story. We got a little peek when Boomer got his girl, but I definitely wanted to know more about the couple that had been together for so long.

Being married for so long and a mother myself, I totally got Vida. She had her dream. Married to the man she had loved for so long and making a family with him. She has trouble breaking off the momma to be totally in the moment with her man. Ruby doesn't see this. What he misses is her fire. I hated that he made that into something more that hurt her so badly. I did love that Vida while heartbroken was still able to find her strength when things fall apart. I also have to say that I loved that the author wrote Ruby as staying true and faithful while they were separated. His mind still said taken. Then something horrific happens because of her brother. Both are forced in that moment to really open their hearts to what they know is right for both of them. I loved that Ruby was ready to fight for her. I so enjoyed their story.

I give Heated Ride 5 hearts!

The Hellions motorcycle club is a commitment for life, one Ruben ‘Ruby’ Castillo believes in.  His wife Jenna ‘Vida’ Natera de Castillo has given her life to being his ol’ lady and the mother to their three children. She takes her commitment to her man seriously.  People change, and over time, passion can fizzle. Life for Jenna falls apart the day Ruby no long-er says I do.  Keeping the fires burning in a marriage is hard. Will the chaos of the club bring them back to-gether, or is it what pulls them further apart? Will these two find the flame again? Will their love find a new spark on their heated ride through life?
