My Thoughts
I have been a huge fan of Laura's Hard Ink series and couldn't wait to read this first in a new series for her. To start with I loved this best friends to lovers story. I love that Noah and Kristina have this history as a foundation for so much more. My heart broke for both of them. Him - for all that he went through and the PTSD that he suffered from coming home. For her it was about loving someone with everything and not being able to get past him to love on him. Then WFC changed everything. I love that Laura shares this so beautifully. Not sugar coating what these men and women deal with when they come home. The brotherhood that Noah experiences is so brilliantly shown in Laura's words on a page. I so enjoyed their story.
