Book Review - Break For Me by Shiloh Walker

My Thoughts

15 years have gone by since Jensen's mother disappeared late one night after an argument with her father and her world was forever changed. Her father was considered a suspect and she and her brother and sister were put into the foster system for a time. Now she is a police officer working hard to keep others safe. On the anniversary of her mom's disappearance she gives in to her desire for Dean who has been in love with her for some time. She realizes that she has been falling for him too. Dean is her anchor when together they discover what happened to her mother 15 years ago.

I loved Break for Me. It was the perfect mix of a love story and a mystery. My only complaint is that it wasn't long enough as I wanted more of Jensen and Dean.

I give Break for Me 5 hearts!

About the Book

Jensen Bell had twelve happy years before her mother disappeared and her whole world went to pieces. Since then, she's become a cop—one who takes great pride in her work, and in helping keep others safe. The saving grace in her own life has been Dean West, the only man who can make her burn with desire and help her through her burdens. But when a shocking discovery turns her life upside-down, even being wrapped in Dean’s arms might not be enough to keep her out of harm's way.
