Book Review - Heated by J. Kenner

My Thoughts

Sloane is looking for a girl who disappeared. She is a cop on medical leave and definitely out of her element as she enters Tyler's world where the missing girl was last seen. She didn't expect to be attracted to him let alone fall for him or any of the craziness in between (holy stripper pole). Tyler on the other hand made her for a cop from the get go and had plans for her. All those plans got scrapped when Sloane got under his skin and into his heart. These two were flaming hot and swoon worthy sweet. I really enjoyed their banter back and forth and wondered right along with them how it would work out between a cop and a crook long term. The story of the disappearance was excellent and I so loved that they worked to solve the case together.

I give Heated 5 hearts!

About the Book

I knew better than to risk my heart.
But fierce passion comes at a high price.

I grew up believing in right and wrong, good and evil, black and white.
I knew better than to trust. And then I met Tyler Sharp.

Bold, charming, and dangerously sexy, Tyler always gets what he wants.
But his smile can be deceiving, his dealings sordid, his ambitions ruthless.
I thought I was the one woman strong enough to resist him,
but our need for each other was too urgent to deny.

One look and I was in trouble.
One touch and I was hooked.
One night and I became his.

And now that I’ve fallen, there’s no going back.
