My Thoughts
Addy and Quinn meet when she walks out into the middle of the road and he almost hits her with his car. You wouldn't think that these two people could connect as they couldn't be more opposite of each other. She is a free spirit and well...he isn't. She is a vegan...he likes meat. She lives a very simple life...he lives extravagantly.
They share a passionate night and Addy suggests that they continue to meet that need for each other. Quinn agrees and they share some really sweet and sexy moments together. They admit their feelings for each other as their chemistry is combustible, but secrets and insecurities hold them back. Addy holds back too many secrets and Quinn begins to date other people. This is where the story goes bad for me. It went from a relationship with some challenges to a toxic relationship that was painful to read about. For most of this I repeated Addy's mantra "Deep breath … I am peaceful, I am strong." and then the cliffhanger happened.

About the Author
Jewel is a free-spirited romance junkie with a quirky sense of humor. With 10
years of flossing lectures under her belt, she took early retirement from her
dental hygiene career to stay home with her three awesome boys and manage the
family business. After her best friend of nearly 30 years suggested a few books
