My Thoughts
Casey fell in love with her best friend's brother, G.T., when they were kids. When he finally sees her and falls in love with her too, he messes it all up by pushing her away thinking that she deserves better than him when he is all she ever wanted. What he doesn't know is that him pushing her away puts something into motion that will change their lives and almost destroy them both.
I just love Casey. My heart broke for her when her father was killed in the shooting and she lost that family tie that anchored her. She has always felt like an outsider and without him she didn't have that connection anymore. She needed G.T. and he flaked. I had a feeling that he was going to push her back to school. So back to school she goes with a broken heart and a memento of their time together. She makes new friends - Bella (kick ass new friend who I hope gets her own book) and Jace (knew it. that's all I am gonna say). Later she gets called home as the club goes on lockdown and faces G.T. He has decided that he wants her in his life, but Casey doesn't trust him anymore. Their biggest hurdle was so painful to watch them walk through. The cemetery scene was heart wrenching. I wept through the whole thing especially what Harlow says to Casey. Oh my heart. I have to admit that I wasn't sure about G.T. at first, but he hooked me from the minute Casey hit lockdown. It took him making up his mind to be all in for me to buy in to him being the one for her.
What I love about Ryan's writing is that she gives good girl. What I mean by that is both Harlow and Casey blew me away as main characters. They are super strong girls for themselves, each other, family, and the men they love. They are for sure sexy. I mean come on you do remember Harlow and her bike reunion scene in Ravage Me, right? Then she goes and gives us Bella in this book. She isn't just strong, but she has a hilarious sense of humor to boot. She just fits right in with Casey and Harlow. Yep, Ryan gives good girl.
I give Seduce Me 5 hearts!
About the Book
Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle family
since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father’s lap.
Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit
in, but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter
aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she’s
always craved. Confessing her love for him only results in devastation when he
pushes her away. Convinced she needs a fresh start, she leaves everything
behind in order to mend her broken heart and begin building a future without
him.
Gage Thomas (G.T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when
he was just a pint sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt she
deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only
continued to test his will power, until one night, he gave into temptation.
Realizing he couldn’t allow himself to hold her back from the life she
deserved, he pushed her away, allowing her to believe she would never be enough
for him. Letting her go had been the hardest thing he’d ever done. Even though
he’d thought it’d been the right thing to do, not a day goes by that misery
doesn’t consume him for it.
When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once
again their lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one
person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we
hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive.
Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?
About the Author
I'm a mom and a wife who works full time. I have a huge
obsession with collecting paperbacks and reading. Becoming an author, wasn't
exactly what I set out to do, it just happened. I needed something to help me
get rid of the feeling of being 'just a mom' or 'just a wife' that was
consuming me and writing became that outlet. My book(s) cover some tough issues
which are hard for some readers to digest. I am grateful for every single one
of you who read my books.
