My Thoughts
Clara meets a gorgeous man at a social function who kisses her senseless. She has no idea who he is, but later discovers via a picture in the paper of their kiss that he is Prince Alexander. He then finds her and wants an exclusive sexual relationship as he doesn't do relationships. She agrees but it turns into something more. These two are blazing hot together and share some super steamy moments. He wants her to let go and explore and she has trouble giving up that control to him. At the same time she has become public fodder in the papers and they uncover something from her past.
Unfortunately his family isn't thrilled about his choice as his father, the King, wants him to get with the program and marry someone more suitable. The King doesn't pull any punches and refers to Clare several times in a not so flattering way. Alexander still insists that he wants to be with her no matter what. Then they go to one of his family's retreat and she is bombarded with those who want her out of his life. Between his family and friends, she feels completely out of place. The King reminds Alexander that he has a duty to fulfill and Alexander seems to fall in line. Thank goodness she has connected with his brother Edward who supports her through everything.
I wanted so much for Alexander to stay strong and stand up to everyone fighting for her, but his answer to their separation while not surprising was disappointing. I loved Clare and her strength shown in what she went through before and how she handles the family friend who is quite the bitch.
There is quite the cliffhanger at the end so I am dying for the next book in the series to see what happens next.
I absolutely LOVED this book and am so hoping for Clara to have her happily ever after with her hot but completely mixed up Prince.
I give Command Me 4 hearts!
About the Book
When he kissed me, I was shocked. He was a stranger and still so
familiar. It wasn't until I woke up to my picture splashed on the cover of
tabloids that I realized I knew who he was.
Prince Alexander of Cambridge.
Royal bad boy.
Exiled heir to the throne.
He isn't Prince Charming. He's controlling. He's demanding. He's
dangerous. And I can't say no to him.
We both have secrets—secrets that could tear us apart or drive us closer
together—and as the paparazzi exposes each one, I have to decide just how far
I'm willing to go for King and Country.
For readers 18 and up due to mature, erotic scenarios.
