My Thoughts

Jimmy is out of control drinking and drugging way too much and getting more and more destructive in his behavior. When the label finds out what is happening with this lead singer, they decide that he needs a sitter to help keep him in line. He is definitely resistant to the idea of a babysitter and makes it well know.

Lena has made some bad decisions when it comes to men and decides to get a fresh start when she becomes Jimmy's assistant. She needs to keep things with Jimmy on a professional level, but it's easier said than done when the hot rocker is pulling out all the stops. At first it was to chase her away and then he wanted to draw her closer.

I have to admit that I wasn't a big fan of Jimmy's at first. He was rude and crude with Lena, but once he stopped fighting his desire for her everything changed. Their relationship wouldn't be easy and there are several bumps along the way. Jimmy has been used to behaving how he wants and Lena doesn't let him get away with any of that. I loved that she didn't put up with it and called him out on it. Watching them become friends and then something more was fantastic,

I so enjoyed reading Lena and Jimmy's story. I enjoyed it even more when my favorite drummer boy, Mal, showed up within this story.

I give Lead 5 hearts!

About the Book

As the lead singer of Stage Dive, Jimmy is used to getting whatever he wants, whenever he wants it, whether it's booze, drugs, or women. However, when a PR disaster serves as a wake-up call about his life and lands him in rehab, he finds himself with Lena, a new assistant to keep him out of trouble.

Lena's not willing to take any crap from the sexy rocker and is determined to keep their relationship completely professional, despite their sizzling chemistry. But when Jimmy pushes her too far and Lena leaves, he realizes that he may just have lost the best thing that ever happened to him.
