Kas tells Chris and Dag that they're going to be daddies by way of a Friday night Scrabble game. Except for Chris' Madonna moment they are both excited and nervous. They each have their own worries about being parents. Kas wonders how she will work and be a mom. Dag worries that he won't know how to be a dad. Chris thinks about his parents and if they will want to be in their lives again when they become grandparents.
Then Dag announces that he's off to Australia for months for work. This really is the beginning of some serious challenges for them. One is more than a challenge - it's heart wrenching. They've navigated how they felt about each other at the beginning of their relationship. They worked through dealing with how others treated them due to their relationship. This moment will bend them to the point of breaking.
One of the things that I love about this series is that it deals with relationship and wasn't just about the hot menage sex. Don't get me wrong...the scorching hot trio loving is definitely up there in what I love about it, but it's the story that wraps around it that hooked me. This book out of the three was the hardest to read, but was also my favorite.
