My Thoughts

Kit, a country music star, is rescued from a fire by Max, one smoking hot firefighter. Meeting face to face at a PR event afterwards and sharing a mind blowing kiss, they decide to not fight their attraction and agree to a three week affair as neither are looking for a relationship. When they are outed in pictures, her public scrutiny becomes an issue and they split causing both heartache. When a press conference goes wrong and she finds out someone close to her has betrayed her, Max realizes how much he loves her and wants to be the one to take care of her. Kit wants so much to protect him from the spotlight that she is prepared to give him up when it begins to effect his job and his family. An accident makes her realize that she can't live without him. Now they have to figure out how to live in both worlds...the private one and the public one.

I so love Kit and Max together. Their chemistry is off the charts and Max curled my toes with his naughty talk. My heart ached for Kit and how she had such trouble letting anyone in to take care of her. The life she led before getting into the music business was so sad and to see her as the strong and courageous woman who changed her life. I so loved that Max was super supportive of her work and that it was part of him falling for her, but him also recognizing that he would be her escape from all that comes with that. This was such a sweet love story. When I was done reading I wanted more of them. I love those kinds of stories best.

I give Temptation 5 hearts!

About the Book

She needs to be good.

Five years ago, Kit Landry was homeless and alone at sixteen. Determined to ditch her crappy life, she moved to Nashville with only $200, her guitar, and a notebook full of songs. She hit it big as America’s country sweetheart, but a year of living like a rock star plus a stint in rehab has killed any good will she had with her label. The suits have ordered Kit to shape up or ship out of the limelight. The last thing she needs is a hot, sexy distraction with a sinful smile.

He doesn’t know the meaning of the word.
Max Butler is as far from a celebrity as you can get and he likes it that way. A Nashville firefighter, he’s living the single life with a revolving door of parties, friends, and a different woman in his bed every night. When his normal life suddenly collides with the girl on his favorite Rolling Stone cover, he sees the perfect chance to fulfill his ultimate fantasy and see just how bad Kit can be.

Sometimes bad is so very good.

With three weeks until Kit leaves for her big tour, Max promises to give her a break from being the good girl--no strings attached. But when hot days lead to sultry nights, the lines get blurred and suddenly three weeks of bad might not be good enough.
