Shelly made a decision that she wanted to lose weight in the new year. She has self esteem and body image issues that she has struggled with for many years. He friends encourage her not only with her resolution, but also to get out there and date as well. Shelly works with Christian who pursues her as well as his friend Lance who is her instructor at the health club. These friends decide to pursue her together which changes everything for Shelly.
I so loved Christian and Lance. They were sweet and encouraging and frankly hot as hell with Shelly. It really took seeing herself through someone else's eyes to see herself more clearly than ever before. She got that in double with her men. They gave her strength to have a conversation with her mom that she wasn't able to previously. I loved Shelly and reading her journey in finding herself and love along the way.
