Book Review - One Sexy Ride: Thompson & Sons 2 by Vivian Arend

My Thoughts

Janey has been in love with her best friend's brother for years and has pursued him relentlessly. Len has crushed on her too for years and then he comes to her rescue when someone spikes her drink at a party. He finally gives in to their attraction only to admit that the reason he could is that she is leaving town. Len guards his heart against the possibility of being hurt as he watched his father in so much pain after his mother passes away. Len's dad shares his heart and changes things for him as the day closes in that Janey will be leaving him. He will have to decide if he can open his heart to her completely and fight for them.

Talk about over the top hot. This couple is scorching hot. I loved their story and Len taking a stand  and fighting for them was swoon worthy for sure. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I give One Sexy Ride 4 hearts!

About the Book

His goal is to stand firm

As the middle child in a big family, Len Thompson has found it easy to slip under the radar. His relationships outside the family-run garage tend to run a mile wide but only an inch deep as he keeps his heart, body and soul protected. But when the one woman he's always wanted makes it known she'll soon be leaving town, he can't resist letting her into his carefully constructed fortress.

Her gift is rocking his world

Chasing her best friend's big brother has both entertained and frustrated Janey for years. She's not sure what triggered his change of heart, but hell, yeah, she'll accept it. All of it. Every kiss, every touch, every bit of body-shaking pleasure. Working to meet her renovation deadline is suddenly not nearly as interesting as the mind-blowing escapades she's enjoying with the big sexy mechanic.

When old fears threaten, Len must finally choose--face his past or let their future crumble.

About the Author

Vivian Arend in one word: Adventurous. In a sentence: Willing to try just about anything once. That wide-eyed attitude has taken her around North America, through parts of Europe, and into Central and South America, often with no running water.

Her optimistic outlook also meant that when challenged to write a book, she gave it a shot, and discovered creating worlds to play in was nearly as addictive as traveling the real one. Now a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of both contemporary and paranormal stories, Vivian continues to explore, write and otherwise keep herself well entertained.
