Book Review - Teach Me by Ella Sheridan

My Thoughts

I can't even tell you just how much I loved this book. It had everything I love within it's pages...strong and brave gal in trouble falling hard for a guy, hot alpha guy fighting his feelings for the gal trying to save her life, bad guy who desperately needs to be kicked over and over again, and a cabin timeout that has all kinds of hot steamy moments.

My heart broke for Jess and all that monster of an ex put her through. She was so brave and wanted to be able to defend herself. I loved that she and Conlan had been eyeballing each other for months before he begins to teach her self defense. I hated that he kept pushing her away because of his fear and I loved when Jess called him out as a coward. When Conlan FINALLY gives in to his feelings for Jess I fell in love with him right along with her. He is delicious. Even when their story was over and I hit the last page, I wanted more of them.

I give Teach Me 5 hearts!

About the Book

A woman determined to heal…
Shy researcher Jess Kingston spent the last eight weeks recovering from her ex-boyfriend’s brutal attack. Body healed, she’s ready to put her life back together—except her ex isn’t ready to let go. She won’t cower in a corner while Brit tortures her, but she’s powerless to fight back.

A man determined to resist…
Ex-military security specialist Conlan James avoids commitment like the plague. His job, his Harley, and the occasional one-night stand are all he needs, until the day he rescues Jess from a tense situation and realizes he can’t get her off his mind. He can teach her to protect herself, but protecting his heart is another matter.

A madman determined to win…
As the deadly game of cat-and-mouse with Brit heats up, so does the hunger between Con and Jess. Safety might be found in numbers, but in bed, all bets are off—and the wrong move could lead to heartbreak. Or death.

About the Author

Ella Sheridan grew up in the middle of nowhere, otherwise known as the Deep South. Books provided her with adventures, friends, and her first forays into romance. To this day she explores the world through the words of her favorite authors, whether that's the worlds across space and time or the worlds of love and passion. When she's not writing or working or reading, she is corralling her two active teenagers, snuggling on the couch with her husband, working out her stress in a martial arts class, or sleeping. But no matter what she's doing, the voices in her head just won't let her go.
