Book Review - Beyond Repair by Charlotte Stein

My Thoughts

Alice finds a passed out movie star in her living room. He was so out of it that he had no idea where he was at the time. When he does come out of it Holden stays with her and they get to know each other. Well as much as Alice lets him as she is keeping a secret. One that could change everything between them.

I loved this story of two people who are lost finding themselves in each other. For the first time Holden didn't have to worry that this was all about him being famous and Alice could be with someone who wasn't feeling sorry for her. Alice not being able to share her story was definitely going to put a hold on them going forward together though. I really enjoyed their sweet love story.

I give Beyond Repair 4 hearts!

About the Book

When Alice Evans finds a bona fide movie star on the floor of her living room, she has no idea what to do. Ordinary men are frightening enough, never mind someone as famous and frankly gorgeous as Holden Stark.

However, once she realizes that Holden is suffering behind that famous facade, she knows she has to help. He needs someone like her to give him a taste of sweetness and desire and love. He needs normality. The only problem—Alice is hiding a secret that is far from normal. In fact, her name isn’t even Alice at all.

And once Holden finds out, the intense connection they are just beginning to build may well be torn apart.
