Kadence meets Nix at a parent teacher conference over his
son fighting with another student. From the minute he walks into the room she
is attracted to him. Then seeing him interact with his son makes her want him
more. She resists being with him, but hot bossy-man biker breaks down her
defenses. They are combustible together. Over the top scorching. Then someone
from her past and his present comes in and tries to take everything from them.
I so loved Kadence and Nix's love story. I especially loved
their moments with his son. My heart ached for the little man when he talked to
Kadence about being his mom. My heart broke for her best friend as well. I am
looking forward to reading Sy's story.
I give Incandescent 5 hearts!

About the Book
I couldn't wait for Sy and Holly's story. We got a glimpse
of them in Incandescent and the possibility of something more as there was
definitely a spark there. And now we know that there just isn't a spark. These
two are combustible together. Both go into this as nothing more than a physical
thing, but there really is so many more layers to them both apart and together.
Everything changes for them in a moment when something happens to Holly and Sy
is there for her. He comes out of his darkness to be her light. My heart ached
for what happened to her and how she struggled afterwards. Sy has suffered in
his own way and I loved that coming together pieces back their shattered
hearts.
As always River gives us a fantastic love story entwined
with suspense and danger that is over the top hot as well. Sy is a scorching
naughty talking bossy man and even with all that anger armor I loved him. I
can't wait for the next book in the series.

About the Book
I love that River tackled a tough time in Nix and Kadence's
marriage with such truth and love. I fell in total love with this couple in
Incandescent and was hungry for more of their story. It was heart breaking to
see them suffer after the birth of their baby girl and read Kadence's inner
struggle with postpartum. River wrote the heart of the momma so well and with
such raw honesty. She also wrote Nix's heart beautifully as a man who has no
idea how to help his wife and doing the best he can to be there for her through
it all. Both of them had me in tears as I read the battle they were facing together.
I loved that no matter what happened, it was them together. Nix never gave up
no matter how hard it was for him. When she finally got the help she needed,
you could tell that it was strengthening their relationship as they came out
the other side of it. Then the next struggle comes their way and they face it
together then too. I love Nix so much and even had a chuckle at his expense
with his necessary trip to the ER. He will do anything for Kadence. On top of
their devotion to each other, they are over the top hot together with Nix being
quite good at the naughty talk. I so loved this part of their love story and
can't wait to read the next book in the series.
