Talia lost her heart to Donovan years ago when they were together and she lost her virginity to him. Unfortunately he broke her heart leaving her before she woke the next morning and cutting off all communication with her. Damn the man. Now Talia works with teens in trouble and keeps her heart protected never wanting to feel that kind of pain again. Then she runs into him when she least expects it and he comes to her with a proposition. Turns out one of the troubled teens coming to her center is his nephew that he now has custody of after the death of his parents. He wants her help to reach him and on top of that he wants her in his life and bed again. She can't help but fall into both as she hasn't stopped loving him. I really loved Talia. Her heart for kids is just so big. She fought for them with everything she had. I loved Donovan as well. His heart for Talia is even bigger. I wanted him to win her heart again. I wanted them to have that happily ever after they had missed out on years before. I so loved their story.

Layne currently lives in Minnesota with her husband and four children. When she’s not conquering mountains of laundry and fighting a war against dust bunnies and cracker crumbs, you can find her playing with her children, curled up on the couch with a good book, or on the boat with her family enjoying Minnesota’s beautiful, yet too short, summer. She lives off her daily pot of coffee, can only write with a bowlful of Skittles nearby, and has been in love with romance novels since before she could drive herself to the library.
