My Thoughts
We are back to visit the twisted girl locked away in 6E and I couldn't wait to read this part of her story. One of the things that I really liked about this book is just how different this story is and that it kept me reading until the very end. Alessandra has written Deanna in a way that even though she has some serious want to murder people issues, you can't help but want things to go her way and for her to find some sort of happiness in her world. In this part of her story, she wakes up not quite remembering what happened the night before. This brings the police to her door and she ends up behind bars. I don't want to give away what actually landed her there or what enfolds afterwards. I want you to find that edge of your seat all on your own. It's a story full of twists and turns.
I give If You Dare 4 hearts!
About the Book
Equal parts Dexter and 50 Shades, this is the eagerly awaited new novel from A. R. Torre, author of the award winning erotic thriller, The Girl in 6E.
The rules are the same. I can’t open the door. I can’t leave. I can’t kill anyone.
The only difference is, I don’t set the rules anymore. Guards in grey uniforms do. It is everything I never wanted and everything I always deserved. I write to you now, from a prison cell. My home for the next twenty to thirty years.
That’s the going term for murder.
