I was super excited when I found out that Maya had written a new series and couldn't wait to read it. She writes these bossy men who are sexy and yet still flawed. These men that will make you fall head over heart and want to give them a shake or two to boot. Drake is definitely one of those men.
Evangeline has come to New York to help support her parents. She is an innocent small town girl who works her tail off to make their life better. She is unselfish and sweet and so unprepared for Drake. He's a delicious bossy man who completely overwhelmed and envelopes her offering to take her in and support her in exchange for her submission. Holy hell...they are scorching hot together. I mean get out the fan and ice water hot. Some may think that Evangeline isn't a very strong woman, but I found her to be just the opposite. I fell just as hard for her as I did Drake. I can't wait to read more of this sizzling couple.
