My Thoughts
This is the first in the Kings of Guardian series that I have read and I absolutely LOVED it. Jason was getting ready to take over as the leader, but first he had to face the past. He held on to his self imposed guilt and it wrapped around him like a shield never letting anyone past it to help him let go of it. He had lost men and in order to move on his boss wanted him to meet with one of their family members. Faith's brother was one of those lost men and meeting her knocked Jason's socks off. I loved Faith. So strong and sweet and so very perfect for Jason. Theirs is a story of falling in love and letting go of one thing to grab hold of another. I loved every bit of it and can't wait to read the rest of the series.
I give Jason 5 hearts!
