Holy hell. I fell head over heart for Beau. He isn't easy to love. Actually he was quite the jerk when we rejoin the team in his story. Understandably so with all he lost, but I hated seeing him suffer in pain and not letting anyone help him or comfort him. His team is struggling with not being able to help him and not finding any answers as they investigate what happened. Then Emmy comes into his life and is the light into his darkness. At first he pushes her away hard, but she doesn't back down and eventually he gives in to the explosive attraction they share. They are scorching hot together and I love that Emmy doesn't give up on him knowing that he may never be able to give her more than his body. When his team lets him into the investigation it leads them straight into danger. I so enjoyed their story and I can't wait to read more.
