My Thoughts
I didn't expect to fall head over heart for Alex. He is most definitely the troubled Montgomery who is trying desperately to find his way back to himself after losing himself in a bottle for far too long. He has been leading a dry life since leaving rehab, but hasn't quite figured out what that life looks like sober. I loved the vulnerability that Carrie writes in him. I loved the frustration that flows through him through her words. You feel everything that he feels. That includes his feelings for Tabby. Those feelings that he fights fearing that he isn't good enough for her. Now I adored Tabby. She has been in love with this man for so long and is ready to fight for him. They are totally scorch together and I so enjoyed their story.
