My Thoughts
Barrett is tracking a 17 year old girl named Jane who is missing. Her aunt and uncle claim that she has run off with a vampire groupie, but the more Barrett investigates the more it looks like human trafficking. She intercepts a conference call where she spots Jane which leads her to Nick who she used to date when she was in the Army. Nick is now a hunter for the FBI taking out dangerous soldiers turned vampires. He is also a bit of a computer geek hence the link to the conference call. They team up to hunt the vampires dealing in humans at the same time dealing with their feelings for each other.
I loved everything about this story. The mystery was fantastic...missing girl complete with creepy aunt and uncle. Reunited lovers to solve the mystery to have some steamy moments along the way. Answering some questions within the series but generating a few to keep in mind for the next book in the series. So about that mole in the FBI...
