Book Review - Her Special Forces by Sophia Roslyn

My Thoughts

Take a good military action read and add a bit of romance and I am hooked. Doesn't hurt to have some serious eye candy on the front cover either. Seriously. Hot. I loved that our heroine was a kick ass action hero. So much so that they brought her out of retirement to get the job done. She enlists her ex and his team to work this assignment which put them in close quarters making her face her feelings for him and that secret she doesn't want him to find out. I am thinking that your ex moves to where you grew up, he just might not want to be an ex anymore. This isn't a story about lost love, but more about the loss of belief in it. It's about working through PTSD and letting love in again.

I give Her Special Forces 4 hearts!

About the Book

Retired Marine Viper helo pilot and ground cover expert, Kacey O’Donnell is called out of
retirement for a special assignment: to assist in extracting the kidnapped daughter of a U.S.
Senator, after an FBI team is betrayed and taken out.

Former SEAL hero Nathan Weatherly looks forward to his new job as Deputy Sheriff in the
small, quiet Normal Rockwell town where Kacey grew up. The former lovers have a history she
has no desire to revisit, and a dark secret she refuses to share.

With a young girl’s life at stake, Kacey helps pull Nathan’s team together for one last
assignment. But, she finds it next to impossible to work with Nathan again—especially when she
know he wants so much more, and she has so much to hide.

About the Author

Sophia Roslyn is lucky enough to live and write in a 200-year-old farm house in central upstate New York, tucked in her complete disaster of an office, with a monstrous treadmill staring at her with malevolent, mechanical eyes and blinking LED read-outs, and any number of Whippets underfoot or under-desk.

Roslyn writes contemporary erotic romance, but her works-in-progress include suspense, paranormal, and time travel—all with an erotic twist.
