Book Review - How to Liv by Megan Keith

My Thoughts

The novella I read that hooked me on anything that Megan writes was Eraser. And when I say read, I mean inhaled. If you've read it, you totally get what I'm talking about. If you haven't, go and click now. Seriously. Now. I'll wait.

So when Megan asked for bloggers to read and review her newest book, I was giddy as a school girl getting ready for homecoming. I couldn't wait to read How to Liv.

Olivia's story begins with a peek at her monotonous life filled with her job at the factory, a few friends, and her sister for a roommate. On her way home from work one day she stops for tampons and a chocolate fix and gets much more than she bargained for as she meets Joel reaching for Tim Tams. I loved the shy flirting that ensued as they shopped afterwards.

Truth is I totally get Olivia. From her feeling like she has to try so much harder at things than her sister to the walls she put up to guard her heart...I get her and I really like her. Swooned with her in anticipation of her first date with Joel. Squeed with her as they watched a movie over the phone for the first time together. Giggled and blushed with her at every "spank you" spoken. I loved the woo...the dance as her walls tumbled and they fell for each other.

There isn't just sweet in their story, but a whole lot of sizzle as well. I'm talking scorching hot. Joel is quite the bossy man and likes to tease. Yes, please. The morning after with pancakes and Adam's family was hilarious. I heart Raelene.

I won't give away the rest of Olivia and Joel's story because I really want you to read it for yourself. You will love it.

Oh and Megan...
Spank you very much for sharing Olivia and Joel!

I totally give How to Live 5 hearts!
