Book Review - Spin by CD Reiss

My Thoughts

Antonio Spinelli, or Spin as he is known to those closest to him, is a scorching hot bad boy and that makes him irresistible to Theresa. She has just gone through a horrible and very public breakup that makes her doubt everything about herself. She has closed herself off and just seems to be walking wounded. Enter Spin...this dangerous, sexy, Italian speaking hunk of man. He makes her feel. He awakens her to a passion she has never known before and he becomes her world.

But...
no love story is complete without the rocky road and theirs in no different. Well except that it leads to a trailer where one click changes things. You see, Antonio is literally dangerous for Theresa. Think wrapped fish in the mail and horse heads in the bed. Yep...mafia. And that heartbreak Theresa experienced...at the hand of her ex who is currently running for office and working for the DA. Antonio wants to protect her, but is that even possible in his world?

Spin, both the man and the book, grabs hold of you from the very first page and doesn't let go even at the last one. You will fall for him right along with Theresa. You will fall for her as well. She brings us with her on this heart pounding, life altering journey that is just beginning.

There is a bonus for those of us who loved the Songs of Submission series...Jonathan and Monica. More Jonathan of course as Theresa is his sister. The lunch conversation was a treat for sure.
If you haven't read this series, you should. Seriously. Should.
Here is the first book in the series:

Io do questo libro 5 stelle!

About the Book

Antonio Spinelli blew through my orderly life like a cyclone.

Gorgeous and passionate, with a breathtaking brutality, he put me under his spell the moment he touched me, drawing me into his underworld of risk, violence and betrayal.

And I found, just as this sophisticated savage didn’t trust me, I didn’t trust myself. Something happened to me. Some alchemy from the heat between us.

I discovered I was a savage, too.

About the Author

CD Reiss lives smack in the middle of Los Angeles with her children and husband. She likes to make pretty pictures and write dirty scenes. She eats dark chocolate and chili, together, sometimes with bacon, and doesn’t care what you think about that.

There are a million more things she could tell you about herself besides that, but they’re all too boring to mention in company.
