Book Review - Dare to Desire by Carly Phillips

My Thoughts

Madison and Alex were together and she had lowered her defenses letting her heart into the mix. It was so hard for her to do that knowing his history with women and having her own trust issues being abandoned as a child. Things were so good between them. They enjoyed their time together and she was even beginning to spend time with his family. Then he got injured in a game and broke off their relationship and broke her heart in the process.

Alex comes back into her life when he is offered a job working with her to develop a program for players injured. He wants another chance with her and insists that he has changed since the accident. Madison still has feelings for him, but can't trust that he will stick around. All he asks is that she gives him a chance to prove that he has changed.

One of the things I loved about this story is the developing relationship between Alex and Ian.  Knowing how hard it has been for them it was so sweet seeing them begin to bond as brothers.

I loved that Alex was there for Madison as she navigated the legalities of the care of her foster mom. Showing her, rathering that just telling her, that she wasn't alone. The moment when Madison shares the mall story with him broke my heart.

I really enjoyed Madison and Alex's story.
I can't wait to read the next Dare family story.

I give Dare to Desire 4 hearts!
