My Thoughts
Deacon is one scorching hot vamp and he is all about getting Cici into his bed in exchange for finding out who is trying to kill her and sabotage her business. To say they have a history is quite the understatement as they have been in and out of each other's lives for over two hundred years. The last person Cici wants to ask for help is Deacon since he broke her heart so many years ago, but she does and then agrees to his terms of payment. With the help of their friends they work together to solve the mystery of who wants Cici dead and in the process learn that true love is possible even when promises are broken.
I love Deacon and Cici!
When the story begins they seem to be on opposite ends of the true love debate, but in reality they aren't. Deacon was just fighting it because he didn't think he deserved it. Their steamy moments had me fanning myself...whew! HOT! HOT! HOT! Robin sure can write a sexy scene! I loved Deacon, Cici, and their friends so much that I would love to see this made into a series. Their world is a place I would like to visit again.
I definitely give Sex & the Single Vamp 5 hearts!
