My Thoughts
Everly goes into his store to pick up her shipment of romance books on a regular basis, but in reality she goes to be near to him. Roman has Everly open her package and go through it just to prolong her visit. He buys a comfy chair, her favorite drink and snack for the same reason. They have been doing this dance around each other without actually connecting. Then Everly finds Roman shot and the barrier between them is pierced. Roman is still weary of endangering Everly by dating her, but is that he should. They share some really sweet and super steamy moments together, but Everly still isn't quite sure where she stands with Roman.
I love the contrast in the innocent and not so innocent between the two of them and how it influences the other. Everly bringing out the romantic in Roman and him bringing out the naughty in Everly.
