My Thoughts
Mia decides that she is going to lose her virginity this summer and it's going to be someone at the bar she stops at on the way to her best friend's house. She meets a delicious dirty talking man and spends a passionate night with him and then takes off the next morning not even knowing his name. She arrives at her best friend's house only to find out that her mystery lover was actually Ben, her bff's brother, who tormented her for years growing up. They have both grown up and become different people since those days. Ben is now a cop with a son who has fallen hard for Mia. Now he just has to convince Mia that she is exactly where she belongs.
I LOVED Ben. Totally caught off guard by the fact that Mia grew up to be the one for him, he trusted it and never stopped fighting for them. And this man is the master of dirty talk. Holy hotness. My heart hurt for Mia as she had been taking care of her mom during her illness and even more so later on at the hosptial. The moment in the book with the phone message and meeting on the innerstate was epic love story stuff and made me weepy. I just loved their love story. It was sweet.
