My Thoughts
Brae is interning at a law firm with one of her professors.
they are working on a case when she discovers that the man they are up against raped several women. She begins to search out each one to find out what
happened to help her client, but it's also about what her sister endured when
her parents were tragically killed and a secret she has kept since then.
She meets Haas and almost shares herself with him prior to
getting her internship. She runs from him when she believes he is married.
Imagine her surprise when at the first meeting with their opponents lawyer, she
finds herself face to face with Haas. She tells him that they can't be together
because of the case they are both working on, but Haas isn't going to take no
for an answer as he wants her more than he has ever wanted anyone.
When she finally gives into her heart and begins a
relationship with Haas, they are over the top hot together. Ummm...hello
elevator. And his very first words that first time..."On your knees."
Seriously illegally hot. Haas could very well naughty talk anyone under the
table or at least out of their panties. The beauty of him is that he also has
this sweet tender side that is just lovely.
I give Consensual 5 hearts!
About the Book
Braelynn Wolf is focused on two things: work and
law school.
That is how she survives.
That is how she’ll make a difference.
Until she meets HIM.
Peyton Haas is sexy, dangerous, and forbidden. The defense attorney on Braelynn’s
first legal case is the only man who can cloud her judgment. Unable to stay
away, she finds herself lying to everyone around her so she can spend time with
the man who makes her feel things she never felt before—things she never
dreamed possible.
With the legal case hanging on a thread, can Braelynn ignore the relationship
she has built with Peyton?
Or will she succumb to the man who has the power to throw away her future?

About the Author
Livia Jamerlan is a hopeless romantic she is
always looking for her next love story to pop in her head. Though Livia kept a
journal throughout her early life, she never thought about pursuing a career in
writing, she always used it as form of therapy, pouring her heart out into
words. It wasn’t until a story developed in her head that she decided that
maybe she could write a book. At first it was just an escape from reality but
now she use it as a power to put all her feelings, hopes, and fears on paper.
Deciding it was time to tell her story she began to write, with each passing
day the story grew, characters we formed, and what seemed like a hobby at first
has now become a passion for Livia.
When Livia is not writing she is spending time with her husband and their two dogs,
she might also be curled up with a new book, or she is out traveling the
country to support indie authors at their book signings.
