Sydney is house sitting for her aunt when she has to take her aunt's dog to the vet as it is ill. That's where she meets Dr. Dane who is immediately attracted to her. Sydney isn't looking to get involved because she is only there for a month. Her next house sitting job is in Paris. Later she meets Dr. Lautner who is a pediatrician who she mistakes for the pool boy at her aunt's house. She falls hard for him. Dr. Dane is shy and wants to romance her while Dr. Lautner is that guy that goes after what he wants. Now Sydney needs to figure out what she wants.
This story was a bit of a roller coaster ride with emotions running the gamut from laughter to tears. Sydney frustrated me at times. I just wanted her to pick and not be wishy washy. Then when she went off to Paris I wanted to shake her. I didn't expect the repercussions of her decision and it was heart wrenching.
