Scarlett spends the night as mistress to a sub that has her captivated. When she spots him across the room sparks fly between them and once they go private she knows there is something special there. Unfortunately she is leaving town to do a vet internship, so she doesn't pursue anything further. Imagine her surprise when she arrives only to find that her boss is actually the sub she was with at the Club.
Logan is one of those rare subs that is actually an alpha outside of the bedroom. He has issues with submitting to anyone completely and therefor holds part of himself back even with Scarlett. Scarlett is up for that challenge and decides that he is worth helping him to break down those walls.
I absolutely LOVED Scarlett. She cares so much for Logan to help him through his issues and falls for him in the process. Poor Logan has fought who he is for so long that it will take Scarlett opening that door for him. And holy hotness when she does. These two are off the chart scorching hot together and I LOVED their story.

About the Author
Lauren Hawkeye/ Lauren Jameson never imagined that she’d wind up telling stories for a living… though when she looks back, it’s easy to see that she’s the only one who is surprised. Always “the kid who read all the time”, Lauren made up stories about her favorite characters once she’d finished a book… and once spent an entire year narrating her own life internally. No, really. But where she was just plain odd before publication, now she can at least claim to have an artistic temperament.
Lauren lives in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta, Canada with her husband, toddler, pit bull and idiot cat, though they do not live in an igloo, nor do they drive a dogsled.
