Kate leads a very isolated and careful life due to a tragedy that happened years ago. She is a professor and goes little where else than there and a local pub to eat dinner each night. Sam is one of her students and he pursues her hard asking her out almost every day. She finally relents and they grow close. Kate's therapist gives her a to do list to help in her recovery which Sam sees one night when they are together. He helps make them happen and in turn helps heal her heart. He has his own tough decisions to make. Will he choose school, music, or racing and how will that effect his relationship with Kate? Is she ready to take such a big leap?
I so adored Sam. Not only is he super sexy, but this man has a heart of gold. He was so patient with Kate as she worked through her heartache, but at the same time he challenged her to move past it with him.
