After losing her husband just hours after their wedding, Everly has cut herself off from everyone that cares about her for several years. She lives an empty life just going to work and coming home. She lives in their home still surrounded by all of his things a shell of who she used to be. Then Luca comes back into her life and shakes things up. She has hated him for years and blamed him for Tyler's death. He can't believe the ghost that she has become and decides to help bring her out of this darkness. He has cared for Everly for years as they met before she met Tyler. Part of bring her back means telling her the truth that Tyler had hidden from her and what happened when he died. 

I absolutely LOVED Luca. He is sexy and sweet and very, very patient. There were a few times I wanted to shake Ev in their story. Ultimately this is a story of a second chance at love and I so enjoyed reading it. She has a gem of a friend in Morgan and I really hope she gets her own book. I would love to read her story.
