After a tragedy Lauren ends up being guardian to her 3 siblings. That's a pretty big life change for a 21 year old who can barely take care of herself. Her whole world changes in a moment. Dean is a family friend who helps her though the transition and they fall for each other along the way. This is a story about loss, love, and family.
I loved that Dean fell so hard for Lauren and was there for her. My heart hurt for Lauren with the loss not only of family but of all the plans she had to let go of because of that. She had to grow up fast, but what a reward.

About the Book
After her father’s untimely demise in a mining accident and
