This is the prequel to all things Ryder and Jade. We get a peek into their lives up until and including when they meet. Things are a bit crazy with Ryder and the MC as there was an incident that left their Prez in the hospital and Ryder taking care of his family. Ryder and Jade meet when he rents a house from her. She is leery of going so, but agrees to it as long as she can randomly come and do inspections. They are obviously attracted to each other from the moment they meet and the more they spend time together, the more their feelings for each other grow. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and they share a scorching moment together on his bike.
I give Ryder 4 hearts!

Her parents and especially her brother would never approve of her being with him though.
Ryder can't get Jade out of his head and can't understand his attraction to her. She is nothing like the women he has been with and isn't sure how she will fit into his life with the MC. When he is told to give her up for the good of the club, he gives it a go but just can't stay away from her.
I so love Ryder and Jade together. It's so much more than a physical attraction for each other. They complete each other in ways they couldn't have imagined and most won't understand. I can't wait to see what happens next with them.

My Thoughts
Talk about a burning hot couple...whew! Ryder and Jade are
together and they are combustible. Ryder is a dirty talking alpha male who
wants nothing more than to take care of and please his girl. And boy can he do
some naughty talk.
The couple's biggest obstacle is their family who doesn't
approve...mainly Jade's brother Harrison. Oh but Harrison is in for a big
surprise. The woman that rocks his world is none other than Eva who is (wait
for it) Ryder's sister.
After what he put Ryder and Jade through, I was thinking he
totally deserved for someone to beat his ass whether that would be Ryder doing
it the usual way or Eva tying his ass up. Imagine my surprise when it turns out
that Harrison has a bit of a Dom locked inside. I kinda dig bossy Harrison.
There is some MC action going on as well as Ryder having to
make some life changing decisions.

Jani has been married for a long time to a special man, and her two children and their partners are the sunshine in her life. She is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.
Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby - Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects are her family and her travels.
Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people, about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately desires (in her humble opinion).
