Kat was orphaned when she was young and doesn't remember anything about her parents. She has wondered all her life if she really has powers and has so many more questions, but no one to ask them to. Then she meets Matt and has a one night stand with him. When he tosses her out afterwards, she curses him to never finding satisfaction with another woman.
Matt gave up his life as a Druid and works at a job he doesn't like much at all. Kat keeps coming in and out of his life and they try hard to make a relationship happen while she is running from something and he tries to protect her.
I love the chemistry between Kat and Matt. They are hit and miss for quite awhile, but sharing some steamy moments along the way. I like that they are both searching for something in their lives. He wants a way out of his life and she needs to learn more about hers. I really enjoyed their story.

About the Author
