Book Review - Lovers Restored by Kelsie Leverich

My Thoughts

Halle has come home to share one last moment with her best friend that passed away ten years ago. They had buried a box of memories in the backyard to open years later to reflect on their time together. Only problem is that she would probably run into Cooper who wasn't just her best friend's brother, but also the love of her life. He walked away from her after his sister's death and broke her heart. She is facing her past both in opening the box of memories and opening her heart again to Cooper. Unfortunately Cooper hasn't really dealt with his loss and has always blamed Halle for his sister's death. Halle deals with his resentment mixed with his desire for her, but has to make the difficult decision to move forward with or without him. Their story was heart breaking and sweet at the same time. I loved the possibility of a second chance at first love.

I give Lovers Restored 4 hearts!

About the Book

So much need. So much desire…

It's been exactly ten years since Halle Morgan last set foot in her tiny hometown. Now she's back, but only long enough to honor the memory of her best friend and try to leave the past behind her. But with one look at Cooper Bale, Halle knows there is no escape from the past—or from the man she wants like no other.

Cooper can't let go of his painful memories, or the guilt that tore him and Halle apart. And try as he might, he can't forget the bittersweet night they once shared. Even now, longing sizzles between them, potent and insatiable. Though blissful nights spent in Halle's arms heal the bitterness in Cooper's heart, they know they have no future…until they let go of the past that brought them together.

About the Author

Kelsie Leverich lives in Indiana with her husband and two adorable monsters that are better known as her kids. Her life revolves around her family (to include three dogs and a cat) and most of the time, actually all of the time, it's a crazy mess--but that's the way she loves it! When Kelsie's not writing, you can usually find her snuggling on the couch with her kids and a good book or out on the lake with friends and family. Kelsie is not a morning person, has a soft spot for animals, loves musicals, hates seafood, and thinks laundry is the source of all evil.

Kelsie loves stories that can make you fall in love, break your heart, and heal your soul.
