My Thoughts
Mia is a zoologist on assignment to research bears in Alaska. When she gets off the plane at arrival she comes face to face with lumberjack Max and falls head over heals. He too feels the connection between them and doesn't fight the chemistry that is over the top hot. Mia on the other hand questions everything even going as far as making a pros and cons list for their relationship with his mother.
Soon after her arrival there is a murder and she becomes one of the main suspects with a creepy cop investigating. Max does some digging of his own and has to protect Mia as she becomes a target for the killer.
I absolutely LOVED this story. Mia and Max are just so fun and flirty and sexy with a whole lot of humor mixed in. Max is a delicious naughty talking bossy man. Then there is the whole circle of people that surrounds them and you can't help but want more. Especially Max's mom and Mia's aunt. They are hilarious.
I give A Reason to Kill 5 hearts!
