My Thoughts
One of the things I loved about this book was that Mel and Liam were falling deeper in love with each other. Even with all the chaos happening around them they were growing closer as husband and wife. I also loved that the other women in the family were getting stronger because of Mel's example. While they were horrified by her behavior at times, they wanted to be just like her. She helped that happen for them and the men in their lives weren't sure what to do with them as they made these changes.
Yes, JJ has written one of the best mafia stories, but she also has in the midst of that written a fantastic story of family. Both the good and the bad that comes from within that family. I can't wait to see what happens next.
