Lexi is a bartender and really doesn't fit in with the people around her. Her only friend is a cop whose wife and child are missing. Eryx is the king to a people who were left behind in Eden. They are both attracted to each other, but try very hard to resist is along the way as it is against the rules to mix. Someone else has also found Lexi and wants to use her to take over Eden. Eryx will have to fight for both.

This story was really good with an even mix of fantasy and romance. I enjoyed it.
