I loved that Dixie has such love for her brother and wants so much for him to find happiness, but I hated that it would be at her expense. I love how she dropped everything to come home to care for her grandfather who was ill. She has such a deep sense of family even going through the loss of her parents. Then there's her love for Gavin that has stood the test of time and his refusal to be with her all those years. She lays it all out for him and is ready to fight for them. He is still holding on to a promise made and secrets of the time she was away. With her I wanted him to stand up for them. With her I wanted him to declare his love for her. I wanted them to find their happily ever after. I loved this part of their story and can't wait to see what happens next.
