When Liam became paralyzed due to a logging accident things change between he and his wife. While they are very much in love and Ivy takes care of him, Liam is unable to make love to her. This turns him into an angry man who takes it out on his wife by hardly talking to her let alone touching her.
Liam's best friend Ward has come back to town to help with his family's business and be at his father's side as he is dying. Someone has been sabotaging the business clearing land and blaming it on Liam's business. They decide to work together to investigate who could be doing this and save both companies.
Liam wants them to work together outside of business as well. Liam and Ward were involved before and he asks Ward to spend some steamy time with he and Ivy. And I mean steamy. I so enjoyed their story.
